[85] Leaving... On a Jet Plane...

So it’s time to go home. The PAX Workcation is over, and I will finally get to sleep in my own bed once more. I didn’t miss my pillow, as I took it with me, but I did miss ‘home’. There’s no replacing that ‘my house’ feeling with a Hotel Room. The flight was at 1840, and I was ‘thankfully’ able to check out a ‘little’ later (Only 1230, but that’s better than nothing. They had the hotel booked for the next day, so that’s as late as they could go. I was very appreciative for that even). After checking out, I meandered over to where the rest of the crew leaving on a flight today were hanging out, and we waited together.

Shockingly, nobody wanted to play Rock ‘N’ Roll Racing [link] with me, even though I’d brought two controllers, so I started out “Lighting them Up” alone. (I am now terribad at this game. I hobbled through the first world, and promptly lost at the second. Even playing as a hidden character. ;? ) It’s kind of funny, this is the first time I’ve just been able to sit down and play a game since I’ve been in Boston… even though I was at PAX. (Don’t let my words fool you. I have a blast, if it isn’t obvious by my posts. I just don’t play too many games. ) I did get a chance to play ‘Space Team’ [link] (Which also happened to be the Final Round of the Omegathon… a topic for another post. ), which is sadly only for iOS, but a good bit of silly fun. Any game that has people shouting, “Engage the Toilet”, “Flush the Policeman”, and “Activate the Sloth”, is A-OK in my book. I’m told there’s a more ‘Serious’ game in that spirit called, “Artemis” [link] , which I now want to own.

Now I’m sitting on the Flight typing up my post for the day. The internet died for a bit there, so I needed to figure out something ‘productive’ that I could do without it, and what better time to write than now? (You ‘know’ you’re complaining about “First World Problems”, when “The Internet on this Flight isn’t Working” is a concern. O.o!) Of course that said, there was enough “Homecoming” to take care of that the picture was still late, and this post, while written in advance, isn’t up until the next day. ;?

[Photo Observation] So, I took this shot through a window, and I was concerned that glare from the glass would ruin the shot. Thankfully that wasn’t the case. For what I had to work with, I’m happy enough with how it turned out, as you can’t do too much with the angle of your shot at an airport without getting locked up. I ‘do’ think I could have gotten the plane ‘just’ a little more from the side, which may have helped with the light reflected on its body.
