[69] Did you know that I was a thief?

Apparently I'm a really sorry one at that. Three years ago I was enrolled in a "Focus Group" for some at that point unreleased software (Microsoft Office 2010). I don't recall how I became part of the program, only that I 'did'. Here's the 'fun' part. That was at the same time we were being forcibly ejected from our house, and my relationship was falling apart. Oh, and then I lost my job due to lack of work... So, as you can imagine, little things like the laptop on loan from the focus group got put on the back burner whilst I tried to get things in order. Fast forward three years and I find this box as I'm going through my junk.

Thankfully I archive at least 'some' of my E-Mail, and I was able to find an E-Mail from my point of contact at the time. I've sent off a message apologizing for being a hateful dirty thief, and asking where to send this ill gotten property. What makes it 'worse?' is that this machine has just been sitting in a box unusable by anyone for that entire time. It would be one thing if I was at least using it... (A 'Worse' thing as far as my personal character goes, but at least a 'practical' thing...) but all this time where I could certainly have benefited from having a laptop, I've been squatting on a stolen one hiding in my junk. ;? (Don't misunderstand, I would be even more ashamed of myself were I just using this laptop that is not mine. I'm just commenting that at least 'that' would have made more sense than lugging it around in a box. ;?)

Ahh well... they obviously didn't miss it 'that' much, or I would have been harassed a bit more about it. Hopefully someone gets back to me, and I can return this conversation piece to them. (I don't imagine this is the kind of thing they encounter every day... At least I hope not. )

[Photo Observation] Focus is my new 'Focus Item', so that's still needing work. I like that I was able to get the Windows 7 Box and the Intel Label in the screen. The whole 'getup' is a little too far to the left... (Or not far enough) and the Windows box is a bit washed.
