[53] All Dolled Up...

OR that was the original Idea. I 'was' going to take the camera with me to a Charity Auction that I went to tonight [link] ... but for various reasons, that didn't work out. ;? Such is life. And there were several good opportunities for shots that I would have preferred... but again... such is life. [/Complaining] So instead you get a shot of my newly Beardless Face.

So Dinner aside, today was rather uneventful. Long, but uneventful. That leaves me in the awesome position of needing to put a few more words down here, but with nothing to say (Still no *Aha!* Moments...) Rats, that worked last time. ;? I think I may need to replace my phone rather soon. There are a number of occasions where the "Only" way to hang up my call is by taking the Battery Out. Now... perhaps I'm missing the part where this is a brilliant design... but I don't like it.

I will say that there is a distinct disadvantage to having a "Fashion Loving" partner. Especially when you're the type to listen, and learn from said partner. I saw no fewer that three awesome dresses at the dinner. Yes, there were people all dolled up, and I'm sure there was plenty of "Eye Candy" for the "Discerning Eye", and what drew my attention? (Wow, that's an awesome cut to that skirt! I love the simple contrast in that dress! That's a great material, AND Contrast!) I think I need to turn in my Man Card now... :*(

[Photo Observation] So, I have a 'Rule' that after I finish my "Shoot", I Have to pick a shot, even if I don't really like any of them, as in this case. I mean... it's not "Offensively" bad, but the focus is on the wrong element, the angle is just off enough that I look like I'm inviting you in for a expedition in my nose, the background is "Off Kilter" enough to be distracting, and the shadow from my face makes it look like my shirt is wet or something. ;?
