[129] Pro Choice Love

Description

I think my Favorite part of this shot is the two gentleman holding the "Go Home Bigots" Signs are knuckling their foreheads in unison. O.o! Also, 'I don't think that word means what they think it means..." ;P Today there was a "Pro Life" speech being given by a former abortion specialist [link] . As a show of support, a Pro Choice Group [link] came out to advertise the Event. Making quite the ruckus and lining up along the Entryway somewhat like a Runway, they helped quite a few people who would otherwise have had a problem finding the event (And in one case, even knowing the even was going on) get where they wanted to go. So even though their choice of signage is somewhat questionable... they were certainly of great help. ;P

I tried to get a shot of all the signage... but it seems that a few people consistently managed to turn away as I was trying to shoot. I 'do' think this was a coincidence, as they were always sharing their messages of... ummm... I would have said love, but it wasn't that... nor was it a message of tolerance or sharing ideas (Something they 'supposedly' came to do per their Facebook Page... If I come across the link again I'll throw it up, here it is [link] .)... so their messages of 'intolerance'? I guess that's the closest and nicest way I can describe it (Again, makes the bigot signs hilarious. ;P). Had they just been there handing out information and trying to engage people in discussion as they went into the event, and perhaps had they sat in for the event and attempted to engage the speaker with their concerns... I'd have applauded their intent. 'This' though... I'm not sure what they felt they were accomplishing here... O.o!

[Photo Observation] These are more 'Documenting' and less 'Visually Appealing' (Not that I've got too much that is 'Visually Appealing' yet... >.> I'm getting there. ;P) so I was mainly just trying to catch the majority of the signs, and even that I failed at. O.o I think though I 'could' have had a more interesting shot had I taken it a bit closer to the door so that you could see 'Down the Line' more. I did shoot one like that, but it didn't allow as many of the signs to be read.
