[114] Found on Side of Road

I guess.. 'that' description isn't 'quite' accurate, as this 'Mural?' wasn't exactly on the side of the road. It was more 'kind of' in the 'Courtyard?' of a church. But it was clearly visible from the road I was walking down, which is why I went over to shoot it. Also... Space Baby! Space Baby Jesus! Fiery Meteor with Scary Space Fetus! And so on... Okay, so 'that's' out of my system. I don't really know what this 'is' supposed to represent. I mean esoterically I imagine that it's Baby Jesus... but the Fiery Meteor of Doom that he's riding in is a 'little' off putting. o.O! 'Today' was a beautiful day out, so I 'had' to take a walk and enjoy the quickly falling sun. The shot I 'wanted' to get was a shot of the shadows for Kristin and the dog (Molly) as the walked down the road... but Molly wasn't being cooperative and the sun was rapidly fading, so I was happy to have found this outside the St. Mark Catholic Church [link] none too far from the house.

It was a 'very' nice day out, and I actually ended up having a little bit of time in the morning to sit out in the sun and read. Not something I would have necessarily chosen for myself (I don't tend to get along too well with mornings. ) but it was nice nonetheless. 'This Post' by the by has been a source of some frustration. dA deleted it (It's a known bug, and I've ranted a mite here [link] ) and I tried to figure out if I could have it restored before I got too much further with the project. When I "Auto Sort" the Deviations by date, I didn't want this one to show up in some random location, so if it wasn't going to be restored I would have to remove everything I posted afterwards to put it back in order. The answer was "Don't know", so I'm just going to pull everything and repost for now. What really bugs me about this is that 'now' my post dates are 'In Order' but the dates are going to be exceptionally jacked up in this week. ;? Perhaps they'll allow you to edit the MetaData at some point. ;?

It's almost a week later that I'm catching these posts up, and I 'should' have written them out at least even though I was planning on posting the shots later... but alas. ;? Now the quality, and accuracy of these posts is going to suffer. ;?

[Photo Observation] I just 'couldn't' get an angle I liked on this. If I was happy with the Mural, the Background was off. If I was happy with the Background, the Mural wasn't framed right. It just didn't want to cooperate... Between the Statues, the Cross at the top of the Church, the Trees, and the Church itself... this was as good as it got. I kind of wish I'd been able to be there when the sun was reflecting off the mural more... but alas.
