Description

So the start of today was Exhausting. It was also one of those days where "Everything" seemed to want to wrong at the same time. I woke up later than I wanted to a problem that I could do nothing about, but which opened my eyes to yet another problem that I could do nothing about, but which was a little more serious. I wasn't paid last week. Calling in to the "After Hours" number, it appears that 'Nobody' who was signed up for Direct Deposit was actually paid. Something was borked in the system, and they were aware, and trying to fix it, but for the time being I was without my expected funds. ;?

Dealing with this bundle of joy put me at about two hours late to helping a friend move, and by the time I made it there, they had already packed the majority of their stuff into the truck. ;? Jumping in to assist with the rest, and bending down to lift the 'Very First' box brought a wonderful breeze to my derrière as my pants split at the back. And it wasn't a cute little 'Rip' that meant I needed to get them stitched back together, no... it was a rather hearty RRRRiiiippp! That brought the moon out 'Hours' before it was due. ;? As I was already late, and of course my friend had packed his pants during my morning snafu, there was nothing for it but to tie my jacket about my waist and enjoy the air on my... you get the joke.

So we packed the remainder of his stuff, and on the way to their new house, I make a quick side trip back to my place (I live right off the Interstate, and I needed to get on it to head to their new place anywho), grabbed another pair of pants, and went to help unload. Thankfully, outside of dirtying up the sheet covering their mattress (Sorry Senorita! ;?), the luck that was following me around didn't have any other surprises for me. After that there was some fun conversation (I need to remember to get the list of cool older movies that we discussed put together), Brunch at this awesome little diner ([link] and [link] ), and they began the always fun task of putting their new home together.

After that, I felt ready to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. I 'have' managed to knock out a lot of those 'little tasks' that seem to pile up while your busy with everything else, and on top of that I've bumped out a few of my "Make Up" posts... so even though I still feel drained, the day has certainly improved. ^.^

[Photo Observation] Okay, so the framing certainly isn't "Perfect", and the focus is as usual messed all kinds of up. ;? I do think though, that it adequately captures the 'feel' of having just moved. I kind of love that the arrangement on the "Mantle" is the only thing 'Set Up' in the shot, and it's not 'horrifically' placed for the angle I ended up with. Lighting's not the best either (Though let's be honest, it's a shot of Boxes...), and were I a more capable photographer, I would have definitely made the Mantle 'focused' instead of the drawer and the drinks.
